Hi, I’m Katie — a food photographer & recipe developer based in East Tennessee.

I’ve been cooking for as long as I can remember, starting as a child in the kitchen alongside my grandmother. Those early moments shaped my love for cooking from scratch and my appreciation for simple, real ingredients. I also grew up reading cookbooks instead of children’s stories, flipping through pages for inspiration and carefully copying down my favorite recipes to try later. While other kids were watching cartoons, I was often tuned into the Food Network.

I’ve also had a camera in hand for just as long. Over time, cooking and photography naturally merged into one creative career path.

Today, I bring both of those lifelong passions into my work. Both my recipes and photography are developed to be simple, intentional, and straightforward, focusing on real ingredients, approachable techniques, and a clean visual style that lets the food speak for itself.

When I’m not behind the camera or in the kitchen, you can find me sewing, tending my garden, or spending time outdoors with my family.
